Audrey Beads
What can we say about the inspiration of these beads? They're campy, they're fun, they're pretty light & have lots of potential. For those who love "Little Shop of Horrors" in any of its incarnations..first the black & white movie version, the wonderfully campy remake with Steve Martin, and the broadway show (who knew???), it causes an immediate giggle. Made from Polymer clay, these wonderful beads (we hesitate to include them in the flower class) are hand made. The clay is wrapped around a wooden bead interior, and the leaves are carefully cut and shaped to curl around the "face". The hole is pretty large, with a bit of sanding you can probably fit a leather cord through. We do recommend you use a small 4 or 5 mm bead or beadcap if you're going to use them on a head pin to keep it from slipping.

MATERIALS

Sturdy, but bendable aluminum triangular shapes (about 1 1/2" to 2" sized) unfinished but ready for painting, light sanding and drilling (with dremel) are fabulous bases for all kinds of jewelry and small gift projects. Anodized Aluminum Chain is a real wonderful addition to any project. Lightweight and great for earrings, tassels and decorations, this diamond cut chain in bright colors is wonderful to behold. The color is anodized, so it won't wash off, scratch off or wear off. However, it is aluminum, so don't use it where strength is needed.

WIGGLE COIL (8"LONG)

Great stuff. Transforms any necklace into an attention-getting "what is THAT?" neckpiece. We love it and use it in the kitz, in memory wire necklaces, and in anything we can. Made of steel spring wire and tinted in fabulous pastel shades, its a real hit. They run $1.00 each, but if you get a dozen, they're $15.00 for 12. Can't guarantee color choice. We get assorted, you get assorted. You can have the most effective use by cutting them into pieces and using them in the Twist 'n' Curl or stringing them with beads (alternating) in a necklace. They're pretty indestructable, don't crush easily and cut well with wire cutters.
