A laid back cousin of the Frilled Lizard, this relaxed reptile just curls up and hangs out where ever you put him!

With his pear shaped head and big oval eyes, this wire wrapped cutie will steal your heart while you bead his tail! From the polymer clay head with swirls of complimentary colors all the way down the crested bead back to the curled wire tail, this adorable creature will make everyone who sees it smile.

This kit is fairly easy to make, can be done by anyone familiar with wire wrapping with beads in about 2-4 hours. Great project for an adult wanting to spend a creative afternoon with their 12 to 16 year old. Kids bring enthusiasm with their sharp eyes while the adult can relax or provide guidance, both enjoying the process.

The final size can be 1 to 2 inches larger or smaller from the current 2 1/2" width, we've provided enough wire and beads for you to exaggerate the way the tail curls or compressing the structure to fit a smaller frame.

The original version of this kit only provided the "e" and the "scale" beads, allowing the user to determine the colors, shapes and patterns to create any size creature. The design allowed room for adding accents like pearls, crystals and gemstones. Due to numerous requests, we are offering an "all partz included" version. The "giftworthy" quality that our kitz demand calls for special beads that will raise the price. But the look of a dark blue, green or purple Iris or Luster Aurora Borealis finish brings the entire body alive!

Kit directions use, but do not require the Twist 'n' Curl tool (which can be purchased with this kit). Other methods are described for those with a wire wrapping tool. A nice tight wire-wrapped coil with luster or A/B glass beads creates an amazing scaly-yet beautiful "skin" Add arms and feet, make it a dragon. Ask for our notes on that variation.

Myra Anson Nicholas designed this in memory of her mother and the many chameleons, gekkos, newts and lizards they tried to rescue. A lifetime of appreciation for all those moments... Every evening as they did the dishes a green guardian perched on her mother's shoulder basking in the warmth of the kitchen while her father hid a proud smile behind his newspaper.
